As a native of South Carolina, I have resided in Sumter since 1959. I'm married to John Turner, with whom I have two adult children: a son, John III, and a daughter, Lana. I have been employed at Aldersgate since 1994. Lynn Boan, Dir. Adult & Children's Programs I am a native of South Carolina, originally from Columbia. My husband, who was my high school sweetheart, and I move to Sumter in 1986. We've been married 26 years and have two shildren, a 17-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter daughter. We joined Aldersgate United Methodist Church in 1999, and I began working as the Adult Program Director for Aldersgate in August of 2003. Currently I serve as the Director of both the Adult and Children's Programs. Wes Conner, Dir. Youth & Young Adults Programs Youth ministry has been my passion and calling since 1995, Prior to that I served with the U.S. Air Force. I'm originally from Beaumont, TX, where I met and married my high school sweetheart, Betsy. We have two children, a beautiful daughter, Mackenzie, and an awesome son, Garrett. I attended Central Carolina Technical College and Columbia College. I've been serving at Alsdersgate since 2003. My mission here is to nurture and equip young people to become passionate about recognizing God's will for their lives and becoming the leaders or tomorrow's church.
